Wynter Childers (born December 28th 1997) is a gymnast from Spearfish Gymnastics in Spearfish, South Dakota. She is a 2-time Nastia Liukin Cup qualifier and a 3-time J.O. Nationals qualifier.
During the meet season, Wynter won the Cereal City Classic and the Magical Classic. She placed 5th in the Junior A division at Regionals. She qualified to J.O. Nationals, finishing 9th.
Childers took home various third places during the meet season at the Metroplex Challenge, Classic Rock Invitational and Pikes Peak Cup as well as winning the Lady Luck Invitational. She didn't compete at championship season.
Wynter took home medals during the meet season and qualified to the Nastia Liukin Cup at the Lady Luck Invitational. At the Cup, she finished 10th, an impressive feat. Later in Championship season, Wynter came 8th at Regionals, enough to get through to Nationals. At Nationals, she finished 11th.
Wynter was back on form in 2014. She took titles at the Lady Luck and Magical Classic invitationals, sending her to the Nastia Liukin Cup once again. She had a strong competition rounding off the competition with a 38.000, finishing 7th. She took titles on all 5 events at the South Dakota States and went to Regionals, however, an injury during training at the event forced her withhdrawal, ending her chances of qualifying to Nationals.
